It all started with three pieces named "The Feminine Warrior Series" during the spring of 2024.
"It was an honor to have my work hung in a gallery next to incredible indigenous artists."

Leigh's paintings are displayed at Native Renaissance in Tyendinaga, Ontario.
When the Children Cry
When the Children Cry is a powerful and deeply moving work created for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The many tiny circles symbolize the voices of children lost within the residential school system—each one representing a single life, a single pain. The piece speaks to grief, acknowledgment, and the beginning of healing.
